This riff-based rock band is called Firecrest. The band is composed of Klara Gripe on lead vocals and rythm guitar, Sara Jeppsson on lead guitar, Isabella Grunditz on bass and Johan Nilsson on drums.

Biography:

The band was found during the fall of 2021 by the guitarplayer Sara Jeppsson and the ex singer Freja Rylander. They immediately began to jam and write alot of songs out in the woods, south of Stockholm. Only two months after they started jamming together, they released their first single, ”The Final Fall” which was recorded in an old basement studio, south of Stockholm. They released their debut EP ”Primordial Power” during the spring of 2022, right before Freja left the band because of personal reasons.

During the upcoming summer Klara Gripe and Johan Nilsson joined the band. Later during the year Isabella Grunditz joined the band as the new bassplayer. The sound of Firecrest remind the listeners of bands like Alice In Chains, Led Zeppelin, King Crimson, and Rival Sons.

The music is based on heavy guitar-riffs and a strong female voice. Our song ”Midnight Queen” was included in the top 10 list of the ”song of the year” 2022.
