2004 was the year that saw a couple of youngsters that had a yearning to play music, got the opportunity to coalesce as Summoned Tide. They stepped onto the stage for the first time at a festival in rural Sweden which sparked an appetite and a desire to push on, take the stage again and continue on with music. After several years and several stages of growth and honing the band had the released the debut album “If We Fall We Will Rise”, which was not only well received, but something that the band felt as a new initiative, to do more and reach further to the point of going international.

With no signs of slowing down, the band had played on stages from Norway to Russia. And in 2012, the sophomore release of “The Bringer of the Tide” album came out, giving the band more depth and aggression to the sound. However, things hit a bump in 2013. The band got an infusion of new blood by American born Ryan O’Shea, replacing the original drummer. The next few years would be rather hectic, but with some great highlights such as taking the stage at Wacken in 2015 and an unforgettable trip to the Balkan country of Georgia.

Here we are in 2019, it’s time for Summoned Tide to reach out to the old fans releasing the long awaited third album, now further adding to the depth of the band in a more progressive direction as well as hopes of attracting newer listeners. This album has also been mixed and mastered by Ronnie Björnström once again. Three albums are now freed from the mental incarceration of Rickard Thelin to wander the world, to entertain the abode of the reverent.
